High Pressure Pump

Pumping system includes a continuous duty six cylinder diesel engine rated for 365 HP (272 kw) on a continuous duty basis and generates 13.3 gpm (50 lpm) at 40,000 psi (2,800 bar)

NLB's StarJet-Plus™, allows operators to remove more pavement marking or runway rubber per shift than ever before. It is the first ultra-high-pressure water jet system with a closed loop, on-board filtration system, so users can fill the water tank once and work all day without stopping to refill. This typically saves about two hours of downtime per 8-hour shift, speeding up project completion.

The StarJet-Plus™ is a closed-loop system with rotating water jets on a robotic arm that is mounted to the front of a flatbed truck. The 40,000 psi water jets completely remove markings or curing compound as the truck drives along the road, or remove rubber as it drives along the runway. Ultra-high pressure water jetting is faster and more thorough than grinding and does not damage concrete or asphalt.

Three levels of waste and debris handling to suit specific customer needs.	Hydraulically actuated removal assembly with proportional controls allows the operator to raise/lower, sweep/ extend, and retract/rotate head.
The 25 light traffic arrow board, along with all the other work lights, are completely controllable from within the cab.	High resolution In-cab video cameras allow the operator to monitor progress as well as surrounding traffic.

STARJET™

NLB's exclusive STARJET™ system quickly removes stripes from concrete or asphalt, using nothing but ultra-high pressure water from rotating water jet nozzles. Removal rates of up to 7,000 feet per hour (2,134 meters per hour) are common.

The STARJET assembly mounts to the front of a truck, with all operating controls in the cab. The truck also carries a water tank and an NLB ULTRA-CLEAN 40201D pump unit.

STRIPEJET™

For areas with limited access (e.g., parking lots, garages, intersections), the STRIPEJET™ is ideal. Its short wheelbase and tight turning radius assure easy maneuverability, and it maintains a smooth, consistent speed in forward or reverse.

Options include vacuum recovery, like the STARJET™ and five heads, for cleaning paths of 8", 10", 15", 20", or 24".

RUNWAY CLEANING

The rubber build-up from repeated landings makes runways slippery... but NLB systems remove that build-up quickly. Runway cleaning system includes SPIN JET® unit and 40,000 psi (2800 bar) pump on a trailer, towed by an airport truck.
