Wixom, MI:
NLB Corporation (“NLB”) and Conjet Inc. (“Conjet”) have entered an agreement whereby NLB will become the exclusive rental provider of Conjet hydrodemolition robots in the United States and Canada.
From its eight branch locations, NLB will offer turnkey hydrodemolition rental packages that will include NLB’s wide range of high pressure pumps, Conjet’s powerful Robot 557 MPA and the versatile Robot 101 Nalta. To ensure rental customers are successful on their jobs NLB will also provide onsite startup training and ongoing remote support.
The Conjet 557 MPA is a highly productive robot that handles the most powerful pumps on the market while performing horizontal, below track, vertical or overhead removals. The Nalta is Conjet’s most versatile and lightweight robot. Weighing in at around 260 lbs, the Nalta can be mobilized and operated by one person, it attaches to standard scaffold pipes, fits in spaces as tight as 12 inches, and can even operate underwater. Both the 557 MPA and the Nalta can also be equipped with rotors for surface preparation work such as cleaning, removal of membranes, paint, asbestos or other materials, and light scarification of concrete.
Drew Waltenbaugh, NLB’s Chief Executive Officer, commented that, “Hydrodemolition technology brings so many advantages to the jobsite in terms of efficiency, safety and sustainability. In the industrial services and construction markets we are seeing a growing demand for automation and emphasis on quality of repair. After a thorough evaluation of Conjet’s hydrodemolition robots we came away very impressed with the Automated Concrete Removal technology. We are looking forward to working with Conjet’s North American team as we bring this rental offering to the market.”
