These NLB whip hoses help to minimize the risk of injury to operators in the unlikely event of a hose failure. Each whip hose assembly consists of a short length of high pressure hose, usually no more than 10 (3.05 m), along with an abrasion resistant cover made of either heavy, dense fabric or reinforced plastic tubing. This outer cover is designed to diffuse the high pressure water.
These standard models are typically lighter in weight and more flexible.
The following chart provides details on the pressure rating, length and connection types. In addition it provides a list of the hand lances that are commonly used with each style whip hose.
