The new HydraFlex™ units from NLB give you the most operating flexibility you’ve ever had. They’re also the industry’s most eco-friendly, providing instantaneous dry shut-off and fewer emissions. This ground-breaking innovation features a hydrostatic drive instead of a traditional PTO, making pump speed independent of the engine. It puts full control in your hands, letting you right-size flow, speed and horsepower to match the job.
Independent pump control lets you run the pump anywhere from 100 to 523 rpm, with much less vibration (up to 80% less). It also eliminates water on the ground, since the pump stops working before the engine winds down. No dump valve is needed.
HydraFlex units are compatible with NLB’s popular eSync™ technology and deliver the same safety benefits. eSync wireless technology lets operators control the pump from their lance, foot box or remote pendant, at distances of up to 700 feet.
HydraFlex units have a smaller footprint than PTO-driven units. They are also less susceptible to wear, need less maintenance, and operate more quietly since the engine runs at a lower rpm. Furthermore, the hydrostatic drive has allowed NLB engineers to relocate the engine and pump, providing easier access to the fluid end as well as an optimized center of gravity, which lets customers use a lighter, lower-profile trailer.
